Our family loves the Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe! The best barbecue around! I also personally LOVE the Rainbow Sandwich and the fruit tea. Great food, great service and very clean. We have even used them to cater for our home and business parties. You just can’t beat it!
Some of the best barbecue in Chattanooga. Besides the barbecue, they have an amazing baked potato, burgers, and pimento cheese hot dogs. It has a very great environment and kind employees.
After taking the Incline Railway from the top of Lookout Mountain, we really enjoyed lunch at the Purple Daisy (located across the Incline parking lot at the base.) Funky decor (purple daisies, purple pigs) & fabulous BBQ made for a yummy lunch. My brother had the BBQ platter while I enjoyed their homemade coleslaw & a vegetarian loaded baked potato – literally the largest I’ve ever seen & oh, so yummy! But another huge treat was the Banana pudding dessert that has deservedly won awards. Save room, it’s incredible!
One of the Best of Chattanooga hidden gems, in St Elmo, 1/2 block to right as you walk away from bottom of the Incline Railway landing. Had BBq pork, of which I am no fan and IT WAS FANTASTIC, and the quantity of food places it as one of, if not the best bang for your food dollar. Eclectic environment, family run and managed, overall whenever I am near I will be eating there each time.
